They do protect your fingers
I have slim fingers so found them a bit too big for me, so had to tape them on. I bought them so I could play my harp after I got blisters (who would have thought I would have to reduce my practice after only 4 days away) They did protect my fingers while I had the liquid blisters. I only wore them during practice, but they are bulkier than fingers & you can hear a little tap as they hit the strings & it doesn't feel ideal when you play, but better than stopping altogether & they did work to protect my fingers until the liquid blisters died down, they feel rubbery & give a good cushion to protect my fingers.I have slim fingers so found them a bit too big for me, so had to tape them on.
