Product Information

Ving Rhames (PULP FICTION) stars as convict James "Animal" Allen in this pulse-racing drama. Although he entered prison with a fearsome reputation, Allen left it a changed man. While behind bars, he met Berwell (Jim Brown), a black revolutionary who managed to cause a seismic shift in the world-view of the hard-bitten criminal. But in the outside world, Allen's son has followed in his miscreant father's footsteps, and has garnered a reputation on the crime-strewn streets of his neighborhood that is comparable to Allen's own. Desperate to deter his son from continuing down this rocky path, Allen tries schooling him in Berwell's ways, but faces a tough task as the impressionable youngster has a difficult time accepting the lifestyle change his father is now preaching to him.

Played out story pulls through with Great Actors and emotion. Ving Rhames character (Animal) goes through some real heavy crap in this movie.He's fearless and cold on the streets with a mean reputation. 15 years later his son is living up to his pop's rep.Terrance Howard(Hustle and Flow)plays the Thug that is heading down the same path as His dad. He plays the part, although a bit similar to the role of "Jay" in Hustle and Flow, in a way that keeps you interested. When Animal gets out of prison after over a decade, they find out things aren't the same anymore. I deduct 1 point only for the played out part of a guy going to prison and being be-friended by someone(Jim Brown)who changes their life. Animal with Vang Rhames
I love this movie because back it the hood, and shows some of the things that goes on in the hood, and the choices that we make, and the consequences of those choices. I love the part where he's in prison and another inmate(fred williamson) introduces him to his way of life and knowledge about the Lynch syndrome. I disliked the fact that he had to die in order to save his son. I bought this movie because it was a black movie with famous black actors who passes on knowledge of the Willie Lynch syndrome to other blacks, it is very educational and it just might get some people to think.I love this movie because back it the hood, and shows some of the things that goes on in the hood, and the choices that we make, and the consequences of those choices. This is a very good movie starring Ving Rhames and Terrance Howard. the action and plot is this movie is easy to follow and shows how killings can get you into more trouble and how it can tear families, friends and associates apart. i recommend this movie to the action movie watchers and those interested in the acting abilities of mr. rhames and mr. howard, they both performed exceptionally in this movie. the action kept your interest and it was fast paced. very good movie.This is a very good movie starring Ving Rhames and Terrance Howard. the action and plot is this movie is easy to follow and shows how killings can get you into more trouble and how it can tear families, friends and associates apart. i recommend this movie to the action movie watchers and those interested in the acting abilities of mr. rhames and mr. howard, they both performed exceptionally in this movie. the action kept your interest and it was fast paced. very good movie.
