      Not Disappointed

      I have been using and restoring old Stanley planes for years. I have tried most of the block planes and the original 60/60 1/2 were always the ones I used most. I decided to spend a fairly substantial amount of money to purchase one of the new Sweetheart 60 1/2, and I was not disappointed. The plane worked nicely out of the box. I did eventually flatten the sole a bit and hone the blade, but it would not have been necessary. I like the lock down lateral adjustment. The extra weight and bulk of the plane makes it a very efficient chute board plane. I will keep it and it will be one of my major users.
