    To be fair I wanted this for a silver-plated ring which rubbed against my finger and took off the original silver. I thought this might happen again applying this silver liquid but I took the chance and yes the silver plate liquid rubbed off on my finger and another ring on my other finger next to it...no surprise. However I can see it would work on a silver plate or other items where the silver is tarnished or the plate worn off ....but not rings that are in contact with any friction the.

    The item didn't really do the job I hope...

    The item didn't really do the job I hoped for. After multiple coats, the brass had a bit of silver to it, but not anything close getting it properly plated. More useful as a plating top up.
