    This spring made an excellent replacement for a wider diameter (18mm vs. 14mm) broken spring, as shown in photo. The important factors were the length 4.5" (11.6cm), the two hooks being at right angles and the "spring power". The original spring was a slightly thicker guage of steel (2.3mm vs. 2.0mm) and it had fewer larger diameter coils.... BUT, the most important factor is that that the new spring fits perfectly and the recliner works again!
