    The product's name says it all: It's a real root riot!

    Extremely pleased with this 5-star product. Performs exactly as promised. I'm getting increased rates of germination, and bigger and better yields as a result of this product. There's a noticeable decrease in the appearance of mold and algae. I've got nothing, but praise for this product.

    didn't work for me

    This particular seed starter application is like an artificial sponge which holds EXCESSIVE amounts of water. Using these cubes and a heating pad, germination was fairly quick. Growth appeared to be coming along OK until I moved the young plants into an 8 oz. cup with a really good potting mixture. Then everything went downhill. The problem, I finally realized ,was the spongy cubes continued to hold an excessive amount of water even though the surrounding potting mixture indicated an application of water was appropriate. As a result, roots started to rot. I pulled plants that were dying and realized the problem was the excessive water being held in the spongy cubes. This was my first experience with these cubes and my last. Back to filling my germination trays with good ole ...

    Great product at a great price

    These work great for just about any seeds that you want to start. Just remember not to over water after 1st transplanting because the cube acts like a sponge and will retain water longer than the surrounding dirt.

    Definitely a root riot

    This product is exactly what it says it is. A root riot. I wanted an alternative growing medium to rock wool. This is it. Environmentally friendly and all natural. I’ve already used 60 cubes from this bag in 10 days. In 5 days I had roots everywhere in my DWC growing system. I’m literally growing 50 flower seeds in a matter of days then transplanting the starts and letting them get used to the outdoors. Even plants that germinate in 21 days are ready in 5 days. Nice strong sprouts and roots 14” long and busting out the sides of the cubes.
