    Seller refunded payment and insisted on cash on collection, which I feared would leave me exposed — there would be no way to record that payment had been made. Offered to have item demonstrated as working and for me to confirm via message that it was working at time of collection, for assurance. Seller declined, refusing to take payment via eBay, so sale fell through.

    Buyer has intentionally wasted time on this sale. I have other buyers interested which I now need to contact. I offered to demonstrate the item to the buyer to make sure they was satisfied. Due to this being an expensive item payment in person was fair for security to both parties however buyer refused this using some sort of ‘protection policy’ as an excuse. Back and forth messaging knowing they aren’t going to agree to the terms on my sale I would consider this buyer a time waster.
