The Right Stuff for Locks
Houdini Lock Lube lives up to its claim of a premiere lock lubricant. One squirt into a hard to turn lock makes the lock work as if it were brand new. The locks keep performing well even months after a Houdini squirt, unlike when using a more general purpose good lubricant like WD40. Houdini is well tailored for its function as a lock lubricant. Great product at a reasonable price.
Best lock lube I have EVER tried!! By far!! Loosened a badly gummed-up front door latch system in just a few minutes, and it now operates smoother and freer than I can ever recall it working before. I also like the useful and effective "click-and-stick" design to hold the extension tube onto the cap when not in use - that also works great! My only very minor complaint is that if you use more than one or two very brief squirts to lube something, the fumes of the solvents are pretty strong, but I guess that's going to be the case for most very effective solvents. Crud cutter!
I enjoy picking locks (locksport), so some of the locks are new some are old but quite a few are very old and crusty, having been found on the side of the road or in the dirt. Some of the shackles are completely rusted or frozen to the body of the lock. I've used penetrating oil, carburetor cleaner, brake parts cleaner, all to know available on some of the worst locks. I had heard good reviews on this product and thought I would give it a shot. It works remarkably well in a very short period of time. spray it on let it set for just a very short period of time and you'll begin to see results. Cleanest and Best I've Used
I used this on a 40 year old Ruswin double deadbolt. I previously tried everything from WD 40 to silicone and graphite. This Houdini seemed to clean all the debri out of the deadbolt and helped with making the key a smoother "in and out". Great stuff and excellent value for the price. Great Spray
