  • Not what it says on the tin

As a novice, I thought this book would show me how to ride a bike properly - basics like changing gears, cornering, and so on. Unfortunately, it doesn't do that. By Chaper 3, he's on to how to use cleats! How many novices use cleats? Likely - zero! Looks like a very good book for serious and experienced cyclists, with detailed training patterns, etc - but I just wanted to learn how to ride my bike better.

  • Great in-depth read

Great all-round bicycle book written by a legend and a very knowledgeable man indeed, all I need now is Graeme Obree's belief and dedication! Oh and youth.
