    Garmin Edge Explore

    Excellent tool for cyclist. Lightweight. Feature full. Clear screen for mapping. Easy to download GPX files to the unit. Large screen shows all the usual data. The baby of the Garmin Edge suite of GPS models but has many of the features found in the more expensive models. An excellent choice for beginners to GPS.

    A great cycling GPS unit, for those who don't want all the cadence and performance monitors.

    Edge Explore seems good. Slightly bigger screen than the older Garmin Touring one. Has some good connected features (phone notification, accident texts and uploading without connecting to pc). Overall, it’s a good unit – does everything you'd expect and probably more - still playing around with the settings!

    So happy with my purchase. Item arrived incredibly quickly and I couldn't wait to get started. I'm not fabulous with with technology but I had no problems setting it up and found it easy to use on my cycle ride. Having linked the Explore to the Garmin connect app I can now plan courses on the app and send them to my Explore. Love the little prompts telling me when to take a left or right turn . Also love that my family can follow my progress from home, makes me feel safe that they know where I am especially if I get a puncture ! Great little gadget

    Great when you get it working. More instructions would have been helpful

    It is excellent now that I have got it working. It took me 6 weeks to figure it out. I am still not sure how it works but it's is now doing what I want. You need to download a Garmin connect app to to your connected phone to be able to transfer Strava routes and data, something that is not made clear.
