Replacing my old machine
I already have a Kenwood that went wrong. Ordered this but managed to fix old one as just a writing issue. I decided to buy another Kenwood because other had been going for 20 years and my parents still going after 50years! I love the splatter guard on this machine, especially great when adding liquid on full speed. Great for all cakes, shortcrust or sweet pastry, meringues, bread dough, icing and cream or whatever else you fancy making. The machine has twice the power of my old machine and half the noise but it works the same. You do have to scrape the mixture from the sides and bottom to ensure a thorough mix but s you get a Kenwood spatula with the machine that's easy enough. You get the whisk, dough hook and K mix attachments to facilitate all your culinary needs along with the spatula and splatter guard. You can purchase lots of other attachments if you so wish (mincer, liquidiser etc) so easily expandable although when looking for replacements previously for my original machine, they are expensive in my mind. The Kenwood brand is well known for machine longevity and after personal experience of that I stayed with the brand. Easy to use and clean.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Kenwood Chef Mixer KVC3100W white excellent quality and value for money. It is very easy and straightforward to use. Also easy to clean after use. Also I must say the splatter guard completely covers the bowl hence no mess when adding ingredients through the lift up lid on the guard. Perfect for my basic cooking skills and great value for money.
My old Kenwood Chef blew up after almost 40 years. Some of the new Kenwood models are too big for my kitchen but this was just perfect in size. I was a little unsure what I would get on a refurbished model but the price was good and came with a manufacturer's guarantee so I decided to give it a try. I can't see any faults in it so, if it has been refurbished, someone has done an excellent job.
