With its 32GB storage capacity, the 3rd gen iPod touch holds up to 7,000 songs, 40,000 photos, or 40 hours of video on a full charge.     Very happy!

    The sound quality isn't great thru built in speakers, but thru my Bluetooth headphones and speakers this device is tops. 32gb of space at my disposal is great. I transferred 3000 songs over and still have 7gb available. Very pleased with my purchase. Also running ios 5.1.1 is nice because it's extremely easy to jailbreak to tweak everything to your liking.

    Can't use

    iPod came locked. Apps store is password needed and I can't unlock any apps!!! Was for my sons birthday today and now he can't use and I'll have to go buy another. No response from seller on making things right!!!

    Just like my old one

    All is generally well with the iPod, clean and cleared out. I do notice that the sound does not go as low as I would like because I listen at night and want it to be very low. Also, the voice recording has not worked, yet. I put a microphone to it and it may be that microphone doesn't work. Works great in my car with the USB jack. The memorex player works great after I went online for the instructions.

    Not ideal battery life but very functional

    I have bought so many of these things, and I have no idea which iPod touch 3rd Generation this is referring to, but I love these things. I buy them for my work because we aren't allowed to have devices with cameras on them and this is the last iPod touch that doesn't have one, unfortunately. It's got a lot of space, and I've even found a way to listen to just the audio of videos I put on there! The battery life is pretty weak, but it lasts through my ten hour work days so long as I don't fiddle with it too much. It's cheap enough that I don't mind the battery life.

    IPOD 3rd Gen

    Excellent sound quality, only issue is the short battery life. I had an identical IPOD and bought this one to replace it. My old one held a charge for several days. I have to charge this one daily if I use it, every other day if I don't.
