About this product

Product Information

E-Myth \ 'e-,'mith\ n 1: the entrepreneurial myth: the myth that most people who start small businesses are entrepreneurs 2: the fatal assumption that an individual who understands the technical work of a business can successfully run a business that does that technical work Voted #1 business book by Inc. 500 CEOs. An instant classic, this revised and updated edition of the phenomenal bestseller dispels the myths about starting your own business. Small business consultant and author Michael E. Gerber, with sharp insight gained from years of experience, points out how common assumptions, expectations, and even technical expertise can get in the way of running a successful business. Gerber walks you through the steps in the life of a business-from entrepreneurial infancy through adolescent growing pains to the mature entrepreneurial perspective: the guiding light of all businesses that succeed-and shows how to apply the lessons of franchising to any business, whether or not it is a franchise. Most importantly, Gerber draws the vital, often overlooked distinction between working on your business and working in your business. The E-Myth Revisited will help you grow your business in a productive, assured way.

So, conflicted with this transaction.... Book was NOT in "Good" condition as listed; it was damaged in transit due to being sent in just a plastic bag, it was dirty, an ex-library book which wasn't mentioned, the dustjacket had stuck to the boards & there was an insect cocoon inside the cover. BUT - the book was perfectly readable if that's all you need, & the seller was very swift to refund me the full amount without even requesting the book to be returned, so, overall experience positive. Thnx

Excellent seller - book's condition as described, order was processed and dispatched promptly with full tracking provided throughout including an allocated two-hour time slot for delivery. Item was delivered on time, inside the time slot, by Evri.

Item in good condition and as described. It was dispatched on time, but unfortunately the delivery company Evri were dreadful and took 8 days finally to deliver the product having sent it out for delivery on no fewer than four occasions and then sent a message saying “we weren’t able to deliver your item”. This was not due to any problem at our end and there was always somebody to receive the item each time.

a pleasant and beneficiary book to read

the book has some amazing ideas presented in beautiful ways. the two amazing ideas I still remember being inside the mind of every entrepreneur three distinct personalities- technician, manager and entrepreneur. the second idea is a business concept is a system subject to selling exactly like a product. the book has explained how to develop a system that is workable and sustainable. the book has an enjoyable writing style merging storytelling with experience.

  • Could have been great

Too many words to explain simple things. Should have used charts and numbers instead. It would have to to a good or even a great book.
