    Underrated

    Released in the same year as The Howling,and American werewolf in London,Wolfen has been somewhat over shadowed by those two excellent movies,but it is most certainly just as good. Finney is at his best here,and the film has excellent supporting roles from actors who you know go on to greater things. A more spiritual take on the werewolf myth but one that is just as engaging. Recommended.

    Such a great movie

    I watched this many times & I love it's dark aproach, it hints many times that the "Native American" culture is a thing of the past but in this film it enrages it & promotes it!!! It is colonisation all over again & the indigenous people all know what was done. Using Wolves to get back at the oppressors was a nice touch. But it all boils down to 'Remember where you came from & respect the Earth' type of movie, which is good as we all should respect the earth but other than that I recommend this movie as scary/action/thriller!!! Great classic.
