Ultimately I didn't care who was at fault, I just wanted the item in the condition as described or compensated. Whenever I asked how they wanted to proceed they only replied "I need to seek advice" and that it was not their fault. It was in mint condition when the item was sent as shown in the images on display when selling the item as the customer would have seen.
