    Great product for the price

    So to start off, I think what everyone wants to know is do they sound good? Yes they definitely do. Sound quality, however, is heavily dependent on what surface you mount them on and they will work on a wide variety of surfaces. The best surfaces, in my experience so far, are as follows: Cardboard, Sheetrock, 1/8" Thick 1x1' Oak sheets, Plastic Binders and Polystyrene Sheets. Surfaces that don't work very well: Glass (as too much vibration can shatter it), Metal (any type as it sounds too tinny), Cloth (including canvas), ceramics, pottery. They do not do so well with producing their own bass, so a complimentary sub-woofer to them would help quite a bit. Because they are only 10 watts, I would recommend putting them in a location that isn't too large and work best in small to medium sized ...

    Great for making speakers

    I use them with 1 inch rigid foam and they are clear and loud. I drive them with 3 watt bluetooth amp partsexpress sells. I have made 2 speakers for two of my sons who are in their 20's and they cant believe how clear they are even playing loud.

    Im buying more for my home. And some 1/10th inch poster board, just add a sub. Audiophile quality can be had with low wattage.

    Nothing compares for the money short of headphones if you use these right. Applications are unlimited with some imagination.
