    Quality Item at a reasonable price

    I have owned a Braun Series 5 shaver for many years. It is especially suitable for slimmer and angular faces such as mine and the trimmer on the reverse side I find very useful for trimming back sideburns, going around over the ears and around the nape of the neck so it's more than just useful for everyday facial shaving. We are all different in terms of beard strength and the time period (1 day or several days) between facial shaving. I use it daily and change the foil & cutter about once a year, sometimes much longer, certainly longer than recommended & with no adverse effects. The foil IS relatively fragile so if it gets damaged, it can cut the skin but I clean it daily and always put the shaver back in its case so damage rarely occurs.     Faulty Product

    The product in question, a replacement Braun 51B foil/cutter pack, arrived well on time. However, on inserting into the razor two things happened: The cutter retaining pin is slightly looser fit than normal (previous replacements) The foil wqas not properly attached to its plastic "housing" Because of there two circumstances, upon use, the cutter started to loosen from its fixing hole, and cause the foil to detach from its housing, causing slight facial abrasion. It is of no further use. I am slightly suspicious of the product anyway, because it was considerably cheaper that those previously purchased (£18.99 incl postage as against c. £35.) and wonder if its a counterfeit product.

    Unbeatable Electric Razor

    These electric razor heads are fantastic. Super clean shave with no danger of nicks. Some people complain about the price of these replacement heads but considering they last 12-18 months it really is a great deal for such a high quality razor.
