    An Excellent value and a good projects book!

    Excellent photographs and good content. A bit of the history of the movement, some measured drawings, some discussion and drawings on techniques and a bit on finishing. More drawings would have been appreciated, but overall a good value. For me it was a good introduction to the Arts and Crafts Movement, as I knew a little about the movement and like the style, but this gave me more information, and there are 25 projects. These range from end tables to bookcases, tables, chairs, and a few other types of furniture. I hope to build some of them. However, it might be too shallow for a person with a high knowledge of the movement, but for me it was an excellent value.

    Not for beginners

    Simple as furniture goes. Plenty of tips for planning ahead along with dimensions of each piece ready for assembly, but requires familiarity of operations and methodology for successful execution. Or lucky beginner with lots of time for obsessive planning/reading and luck.
