The books were in plastic inside a box. The box was wrapped in plastic and taped with waterproof tape as well.     This adds what was missing in taste

    I love my iSpring reverse osmosis system, but pure water has a particular feel that something was missing in taste. In addition to removing all of the bad stuff from my well water, it also removed some of the minerals that make the water taste better, and those minerals are good for your body (mineral water). This additional component adds what was missing. It was very easy to connect, and is generic enough that you can add it to other RO systems (not just iSpring). Because I only use about 1 gallon of RO water a day this should last me a year before I need to replace it. Finally I feel good about drinking my well water right from the faucet. clip to hold the cartridge onto the iSpring RO system is the Reverse Osmosis Extra Stage Add-on Kit #ACL1.

    Doesn't do much

    Have a RO system, output was about 5 ppm. After adding this alkaline filter the output is 7 ppm... That's it... No noticeable change in pH either, still acidic (pH of 5.5)... not worth it, try other brands...

    Not sure. It has brought my ro water from a ph of 7 to a ph of 8. ppm from 10 to a ppm 70. I guess it is working as advertised. water tastes great.
