    One of the best APSC cameras ever produced.

    I was thinking of replacing my D7000 in itself a great camera, and moving on to full frame as most of my lenses are for that format anyway. But at twice the cost second hand for a D750, I decided on the D7100 and I'm glad I did. 24mpx compared to the !6mpx of it's predecessor, handy when there is heavy cropping involved. A better autofocus system too with the ability to autofocus in less light and also the ability to change from manual ISO to auto instantly without resorting to the menu as before. There is a better screen too compared to the D7000. Looking at the great results, even in normal quality I cannot think what the advantages would be in a more expensive, bulkier and heavier FX camera. Instead, save your money for some lenses.     Great value high-quality DSLR

    Great value and good quality with a weather-sealed body and 24-megapixel sensor making it an excellent landscape camera. It's lighter than most full-frame DSLRs, making it much easier to lug around.
