A great product at a great price
It's now 9 months since I put four coats of this on the beech worktops in my new kitchen. I was a bit nervous as I had never had wooden worktops before, but this stuff is amazing, and they still look fantastic. To my surprise, oiled wood is every bit as practical as conventional worktop. Spills just bubble and wipe off, and nothing sinks in or stains. I guess in time they will need another coat of oil, but certainly not yet, and the one litre tin will probably last me a lifetime.It's now 9 months since I put four coats of this on the beech worktops in my new kitchen. Best danish oil on the market
I hesitated about buying this as had been happy with the usual host of branded products. But when I read the bio of the company behind this product it all made sense. Buying from a manufacturer direct = quality and value. I used it on a couple of things I’d made and it works very well - it has a low viscosity and so absorption is excellent (better than the other branded products I’ve used) and after 000 wire wool finishing the look is stunning. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product as it’s quality and value via missing out the middle men.I hesitated about buying this as had been happy with the usual host of branded products. good product for oak worktops
not quite as easy to use as expected, not easy to rub down between coats, clogs up abrasive paper quickly, trying to find a good method of getting a smooth finish as not as smooth as I would want for a worktop. otherwise much better than varnish

Better than the known brands
2nd time I have bought this to use on my outdoor sauna. The same oil from known brands seems to flake after a bit & appears to be very thin. This stuff stays thicker & lasts longer. It appears to leave some bubbles but that’s probably me applying too much or in weather when it’s too warm. I’ll apply a boat for the winter & see how I get on. Much better quality than others I have bought.
