      If you have some experience of soldering...

      ... and your frustration is enough to motivate you... Buy one. If you're a really heavy user, buy two. With luck your device won't be obsolete by the time the first replacement has worn out, and you'll have learned how easy it is to swap this usb port the first time, so the second time will be a real breeze. Please note I write as a keen enthusiast, not as a techie with a sophisticated soldering station. This review isn't for that lot, it's to encourage the have-a-go type like me. Basically if you're confident enough to disconnect the battery and extract the mainboard the rest is easy. *Cough*utube*cough* The A10-70 usb port sits on a little board of its own, which is attached to the main board. This arrangement means it's relatively clear of other components that could be vulnerable. I ...

      Not much use unless you can solder small components.

      This connector is no good unless you can solder it to the small circuit board, having removed the old one first. I would suggest you get the complete port which comes with new circuit board which is then very simple to fit.
