    Excellent quality case

    The Marware Axis is the best case I've ever used. It is well made and feels good in your hands. One of its best features is that the case has little tabs that fit into the slots on the inside of the case, This holds the kindle in the position you want. I love the fact that this case rotaes, so you can view your Kindle in landscape or portrait position. You also have 3 different angles to choose from in either position. This padded case with soft interior really helps protect your Kindle too.

    Great! would be 5 stars if not for one flaw.

    This is a quality piece. The material is soft and comfortable to hold. The stand feature works great. I would rate this as excellent if it were not for one thing. There is no way to charge the Kindle with the case closed. I had to take a razor blade and cut a hole in the binding of the case to get a cord through. Five stars if they fix that problem.

    Satisfactory But....

    I purchased this product because the "Roo Case" origami fold cover is no longer available for my 1st generation Kindle Fire. I prefer a case that stands upright because I use my Ereader for books only, nothing else. This item opens in both the vertical and horizontal positions, but it obviously is designed for the horizontal, with the option of the vertical position basically an afterthought. It requires inconvenient manipulation to swivel the stand to the vertical position. Another drawback is the fact that the charging port opening is on the wrong side of the case, requiring that the Kindle be left open for charging. This case is also bulkier and slightly heavier than my preferred case, the "Roo" case. Because of the thickness of the case when it's closed, there is sometimes a gap where ...

    Great Kindle Fire Case

    This case is of great quality. I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that when you close the case, the Kindle responds by shutting off the screen. I am not sure how it does it, but it does. I really like the strap that helps keep the case closed. Your Kindle will fit in nice and snug with no issue of it falling out. If you have the Kindle that this case is made for, you will really like this leather case.

    Almost perfect

    This case is well-made and a great value. The design is perfect except for one flaw - the micro-USB port is on the hinge side of the cover, so the Kindle can't be plugged in while the case is closed. You can't just rotate the case 180o - 90o rotation is the limit. This design makes the case very sturdy. You can plug in the Kindle once the case is rotated 90o, but then the bottom quarter of the Kindle hangs out of the protective cover. Oh well. Otherwise, I love it.
