It is only a 1 bolt attachment for the locking pin. So instead of the hinge on the lock breaking the pin has a high chance of coming loose and puling out. So I just left the old 2 bolt pin in place. However the lock does not really lock tight on the old pin because it is a smaller diameter. But for my use being a little loose is OK.

Not the same as the old originals and had to modify the ice chest to make them work and they don’t latch as secure as the old ones. Guess I will save my money for a different brand, this ice chest is approximately 25 years old and in pretty decent shape except for the latches.

Original equipment replacement, same as the ones that came on many Igloo coolers. I have a very old Igloo Marine cooler and the catch part is different with two screws to the sides instead of one in the center, but easy to change.

I'm glad that igloo makes these spare parts. Easy to install, and you don't have to throw a good cooler away. A lot of other products out there don't have the option of repairs, so you have to throw them away. This was an easy fix, and works great.
