Product Information

In Clint Eastwood's acclaimed Western, Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman), a sadistic, dictatorial sheriff, enforces gun control on a tiny frontier town, doling out his own brand of due process as he sees fit. When he denies justice to the prostitutes of the town brothel, one of whom has been slashed by a client, the women hire Bill Munny (Eastwood), a reformed gunslinger, to gain vengeance.       "Unforgiven"

      Unforgiven is one of the best western movies around, it's shown as the west really was, there is nothing in this movie that did not happen someplace or other back then, Eastwood brings his usual great portrayal of William Munney, outta' Missouri, killer of women and children and he's here to kill Little Bill, played by none other than the famous Gene Hackman, two big stars, somebody has to win, somebody has to lose .... see this movie.

      Unforgiven

      In a genre which seems be suffering from apathy on the part of the American viewer, this one stands out. Eastwood is the original tough guy, and in this writer's opinion, better at his Western films than anything else. This is a pretty raw flick, but then, from reading history, life in the frontier towns was raw to the core. It centers around the cutting of a "soiled dove" and the consequences visited upon both the perpetrators and those who were associated with the event. It's worth an excellent. I sure would like to see some more class act Westerns coming out of Hollywood...
