I love these powders, they're very versatile for creating backgrounds and also for watercolouring. A little goes a long way so I think these are going to last a few years at least! The free wax resist sticks are also really fun and add more dimension to your work. Great set and I'd highly recommend.

There are a lot of reds and only 2 yellows. Some of the blues have different names but come out virtually the same and some we received aren't on the colour chart included in the pack! on the whole really lovely paints for doing backgrounds and watercolouring. we would have liked more of a variety such as a light and dark tone of each colour rather than a few that look the same.

I tried using Brushos at my Craft group and decided I needed my own. These arrived quicker than expected and I couldn’t wait to try them. They were well packaged in a large outer box. There are 24 different colours. The lids are easy to pierce to make pepper-pot type sprinklers, though I have only put one hole per pot atm. So far I have only used a few colours and I am very pleased with the effects I can create. At just under £1.40 per pot inc pnp these are good value.

Sprinkle it! Spray it! Touch it with bleach! Watch the magical effects.. I have used this on fabric, paper and canvas all with brilliant results. For jewellery making under resin it also works really well and because it is in crystal form it takes very little brusho to get a great result. Just wish it came in bigger containers as I pretty sure I will get through this lot very quickly. The 24 assortment is a good way to buy it as you can try lots of colours and see which ones work best for what you do. Mixing is easy too and I have made a solution and sprayed it directly onto paper and fabric. Great stuff!.

Watercolour powder has a very strong pigment, only need a small amount for lovely strong colours. To avoid wastage I leave the tops sealed on and then I piece the centre of the top with a compass, then I just tap out small amounts of powder for use.
