Propane tank adapter
Propane tank adapted allows use of 100 lb tanks on BBQ and other propane appliances that use the larger thread type normally found on 20lb tanks. Adapter is machined well, no burs or inconsistent threads. Both the tank side and regulator side thread on perfectly.

The product does exactly what it says it will do. One feature it lacks, and which some similar products have, is a built in safety valve that prevents the tank from being accidentally drained it the tank valve is left open after filling it when there is no line to an accessory attached to the adapter. I will eventually acquire one of those to replace the one I got, but there is no hurry to do so as my primary purpose for it was for attaching a line to my accessory supply pipe.The product does exactly what it says it will do. Propane tank OPV conversion.
Well made, clean, smooth threads. Fits outlet on tank, and new style threads on regulator. The OPV "safety" connections are a pain in the ass, just like everything the government mandates.

Need to try and fill the tank
Older larger capacity tank than the exchange tanks and was told that they would not fill it? Worth it to see if the adapter solves that or not or if someone just wants it to make a project authentic to the time period thing!! Nice tank marked clearly Propane
