    Axle bolt could be longer

    This front mount is really nicely finished, it is sturdy, and it fits my ALDI MTB fine. The axle bolt is about 5mm too short, as I have to unscrew the nut until it almost falls off to fit over the forks, and it mostly falls off during loading the bike. It’s a small inconvenience, but otherwise this axle mount is great. I could buy a longer axle bolt to fix it, but it’s not that much of an issue to motivate me to do that. I definitely recommend this bike mount.

    Not compatible.

    This product is incompatible with standard 100mm mountain bike fork. The axle is too short and will not hold the nut. 100mm refers to the inner dimension of the fork, however, when you consider the thickness of the metal, is wider than what the mount can hold. It may still work for bike forks where the "dropouts" are thinner. Max fork width 118 mm!
