Basically, I used to use a good eyelash curler 20 years ago. I stopped, as I just became too busy to care and I always forgot to put it in my makeup bag when traveling. Fast forward to now, where I've noticed my lashes are thinning a bit and mascara accentuates how they are sticking out more straight than with the slight curve they used to have. This curler takes care of that, though it does take a little extra time when doing my makeup. Still, love the result and happy this curler works so well.

I purchased this product thinking that this curler would curl my eyelashes nicely. My transaction with the seller was fantastic and this product arrived right away. This eyelash curler is terrible. I curled my eyelashes several times with this curler, and when I finally got the curl on my eyelashes that I wanted, the curl fell as soon as I applied mascara. Just terrible. If you ever want to purchase a good eyelash curler, purchase the one sold by M.A.C. Their eyelash curlers are great. This one from Shu Uemura really disappointed me!

I have read rave reviews about this curler and I don't get it at all?? This works about as well as the drugstore brands. It opens up wide which is nice but as far as the curl goes it does what my Revlon one does. $5.00 vs $20.00 I think the five dollar one is just as good! I just don't get why all these reviews praising this as if its going to do wonders for your eyes, it doesn't. Save your $$!! Let's keep it real!

I don't know if I'm just crazy but I have never used eyelash curlers because they don't curl mine. They are asian, except shorter, fewer, thinner, straighter and more stubborn to stay that straight due to all aforementioned qualities. I genuinely mean it when I say that I don't know anyone whose lashes are as invisible as mine. Mascara I always did for the fun of it and to cover the powder, because it wasn't like you could see my eyelashes. Now I've always heard that the Shu Uemura one was for some reason great, and that it worked brilliantly and that the eyelashes do not drop 5 seconds after you curl them. Considering the price being very reasonable in my opnion, I gave it a whirl not expecting much because... well, I have my eyelashes. But I'll be damned you can actually see them now when I curl them because they stay upright (admittedly, I also started using lash serum at about the same time, growing my lashes). For the first time you can actually see them when I look straight, and not just when I look up or down. That's all I ever asked from an eyelashcurler, yet this is the only one that has ever worked for me & never hurt my lids. I don't know why it works (even on my little straight shorties), but for me it does and that is good enough for me. 5 stars.Read full review

yrs ago this eyelash curler used to be the best but it has since changed- I had my original one for well over 5 yrs but it recently broke- so I ordered this one hoping it was the same but it was not! It keeps grabbing my eyelid and pinching it, Ouch! the other one never ever did- so they changed the shape, too bad.
