Plunge no more!
I’ve always purchased the type of Huller that you press the top, and found it to be a little tough to do, but I persevered and replaced it with the same year after year, but no more! This little gadget is so easy to remove the stalk on Strawberries I can’t believe it. Dig, twist, pull Hardly any effort is required. Downside is that if you catch a bit of the leaf in it, you need to keep wiping it at intervals on a piece of kitchen towel, but no biggy. I did try it on tomatoes as well, but I think I’ll give it a miss as I ended up wearing most of the seeds as it pops. Maybe my technique is just bad 🤣 All in all, if I only use it for strawberries that’s fine as the price is really good and much cheaper than the push ones.
