There's an expression in life that "you get what you pay for". However, the nextbook Ares 10-A is a halfway decent tablet for the price. It's lightweight, has a decent processor (quad-core) and a nice amount of RAM. The cameras rate at about a B- and the screen rates at about an A- if you're looking for a pretty good picture but about a B-/C+ if you looking for HD-like quality. Overall it's great as a starter tablet for both adults and kids. Try to get a 'new' or 'like new' for under $50 and you'll be quite satisfied with your purchase. Warning: This tablet needs a lock code to open the tablet the first time if it has never been used, so before buying always ask if 'it's 'unlocked', if not, ask if the seller has the 'lock code'. I bought 1 of these it was dead in less then a year they replaced it and that 1 was dead in less than a year then I got a 3rd 1 and it too was dead in less than a year now I only buy Samsung devices.
