Bright and economical.
Replaced a 100W fluorescent coil with one of these in an outside light fitting. It's brighter and uses about half the electricity.

At last, a bright instant replacement for a 100 watt tungsten bulb.
I was very impressed with these bulbs. They switch on at full brightness, instantly, and appear every bit as bright as a tungsten filament bulb. They don't cost the Earth, either. O.K., they aren't smart, but you can power them in lamps via a smart switch, if you wish. After having tried compact CFCs and earlier generation LEDs and been disappointed by their slow and dim performance, these are what I have been looking for in dumb bulbs.I was very impressed with these bulbs.
