Pieces rec'vd have tight fit between male/female parts, to the point that they cannot be pushed together with fingers. You might think "better tight than loose," but using 2 pr needle nosed pliers is difficult, and can cause the parts to bend and fail with the force required to shove them together. You may have to pre-loosen these , maybe with a mini- screwdriver if you want to be able to disconnect them easily in the future. i.e. "Quick," they ain't.
