    Smooth

For the price compared to Dewalt or Makita it is good value. Very easy to use, smooth and steady under working. Exactly what you would expect from a rated manufacturer. The only down side was the quality of the case, I have to say is very poor.

  • Powerful and attractive price

Great router - easily cutting 40mm beech worktops. 4* due as dust extraction hood is not included and case could be better (like the one that came with the Hitachi SDS drill. Despite this still great value for money.

  • Built to last. RIP my old friend.

I searched the internet after my old router died. I struggled to find one that has the same power and the same build quality for a reasonable price. I’ve just purchased a M12ve to replace the Hitachi router I’ve had for 30 years(see picture). I bought the last one in 1991. So can’t complain. I’m a kitchen fitter and carpenter by trade so it’s had a lot of use over the years. Great for cutting worktops or adding detail to timber. If this one lasts as long it will out live me!

  • My first router

Bought for kitchen worktop install and general DIY. Very nice bit of kit, comes in a case, with a fence, 1/4" and 1/2" collects, 30mm collar for jig use and a 3 position hand grips which work really well, I must point out that if you move the hand grips from the standard position the router won't fit back in the case so you have to unscrew and adjust back to the upright position to store away. The plunge is very smooth but a bit stiff which is causing problems setting tool depth but I will buy the add on fine screw adjuster AND the dust extractor. It comes with a standard 1 year warranty BUT BUT BUT, if you register online this is increased to 3 years free of charge. But all in all, a lovely product.
