The mechanics of the scope are easy enough to use even though the design is strange compared to most scopes on the market. The lens quality are reasonable but the light gathering capacity for a 100mm lens is disappointing. If you are looking for a scope to compete with the Swarovski or Leica then this isn't it. You do get what you pay for, though it does compare favourably with a £400-£500 scope. To be fair to Yukon scopes I haven't had the chance to use it in bright conditions but the real test is under low light and on that score, it is average.
