Poor/no communication with mfr on initial shipping/tracking. Package missing crucial bracket. Took several days to get bracket shipped. Bracket did not work with my Q5 even though the kit is advertised to work with my model Q5. I was told they did not have a unique bracket for the Q5. I proceeded to create my own adapter in order to complete the intercooler install. Mfr agreed to a partial refund and then refused a couple days later. I was then informed that they did have a unique Q5 bracket.

Both us and airtec have been repyling to you every time trying to assist Airtec have sent you two different brackets to fit your vehicle from the UK to the USA each time You asked for a £100 refund to get a bracket made locally but wouldn't supply an invoice

NIce Enhancement For The Price.
Personally I would rate Pipercross over K&N products for quality, price and reliability. This aftermarket panel filter adds a nice tone to the car exhaust plus helps smooth the idle of the vehicle. Slight improvements can be definitely noted almost instantly but are more noticeable after 200-300 miles. Quality item any vehicle will benefit from.

Longer Servicing Intervals But No Performance Improvements.
Apart from the longer servicing intervals of 20,000 miles between cleans, I see no added benefit over the standard OEM filter. Actually, I had problems with my MAF sensor and have reverted back to OEM Filter as the Pipercross gets treated with the dirt retention additive after cleaning which, if you apply slightly too much, can end up all over the MAF's delicate sensor causing it's own problems. Save your money and buy some diesel additive instead.Apart from the longer servicing intervals of 20,000 miles between cleans, I see no added benefit over the standard OEM filter.
