Before I bought it I asked though if it was the clamp with the yellow pads or the one with the black pads, because the product image showed 2 different clamps. The seller said it was the yellow model. I received the black model. (note: other differences aside from color). The return was no hassle and every communication was positive with the seller.

    easy change, make sure length is correct before you break the link, missing link is great way to reconnect the new chain, my ride vintage cannondale super v 1000...happy trails

    Good as a SRAM chain.

    Have always used SRAM PC 870 chains in my old race/road bikes. After using this KMC Z51 on one I was surprised how well built they are. The shifting is just great. Have not found any difference from a SRAM chain. Maybe the PC-870 is prettier but this Z51 works the same and is cheaper!

    Good stuff

    I use KMC chains on all my bikes because they offer excellent products for great prices. The Missing Link makes it easy to put on and remove the chain as well. I used this chain on a project bike for my son, a 2008 Diamondback Sorrento with a Shimano 3x7 speed drivetrain. After fitting the chain and removing the 4 links and then connecting the 2 ends with the Missing Link, it worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

    Great chain and very quiet

    This KMC Z51 chain fit perfect and is much quieter than the worn bell chain it replaced. Shifting has improved greatly over any other chain I have used on my bike.
