Best corded angle grinder I've ever used. Variable speed is a game changer, with care and a nearby hoover I can do small chases in customer's houses. The main thing I use it for is cutting and cleaning up mitred tiles with a Rubi ECD disk and diamond polishing pad. I now have 2 of these grinders to speed things up as I no longer need to swap between disc and pad.

Very nice to use variable speed grinder
I bought about ten of the gws7 grinders because I really like the slim grip but they were really poor quality and only lasted a few months in a fabrication shop . I gave up with those and thought I'd try the gws9. This is a much better build quality, nice to have the speed control for different applications and a rubber flex that is about three metres long instead of the 5hite plastic "flex" that were fitted to the others . The only thing that is a bit disappointing is the disc lock button, it's looks like the sort of thing that would be fitted to a really cheap grinder , it sticks up too high and may well get easily broken . Also will most likely let debris into the gear housing . I have three of them now so I'll see how they hold up . My first Bosch grinder lasted me for twenty years . ... Perfect small grinder
The variable speed is a game changer, low speed minimises sparks and dust. The grinder is small and light which makes it easy to use for delicate work like tile mitres and polishing stone.
