All Payments to be made via PayPal, unless you have agreed to collect in Store where you can pay Cash or Card.
 
All Prices include VAT and standard UK mainland delivery unless otherwise stated. VAT is charged at the standard UK rate. Any variation in the VAT rate will apply automatically.
 
DELIVERY
 
SMALL ITEMS: (normal cooker hoods, hobs etc) are quickly despatched on an all day courier service, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. You can expect Free Delivery throughout UK Mainland within 2 working days. For Next Day Delivery, please contact us first.
 
LARGE ITEMS: PLEASE PROVIDE 2 PHONE NUMBERS. Large items like washing machines and ovens are delivered using a Specialist White Goods Delivery Company - who are used to shipping large, bulky items and will take most large items into your home for you providing access isn't an issue. For example, if you have Narrow Doors or the Appliance you have ordered online is too big for your Doorway, the Delivery company will not remove packaging or doors in order to get the appliance into your home (in case they damage the appliance or your home in the process). Other access issues include Stairs and Parking.
 
The delivery company will contact you directly either via Text or Phone to arrange a time and a date depending on your post-code. Delivery in England and Wales is normally within a few days, Delivery to Scottish Post-Codes can take a little longer.

Why Recycle?
 
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK's fastest growing type of waste.
 
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in Landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.
 
What is the Crossed Out Wheeled Bin Symbol?
 
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeling bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
 
What is WEEE?
 
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.

DAMAGE
 
As per distance selling regulations, damages need to be reported within a reasonable time frame - please thoroughly check all appliances for damage within 48 hours of receipt. After this we will not be able to make a claim with the delivery company or manufacturer. Please do not order if you cannot check the items within 48 hours but feel free to ask us to hold off delivery as we can keep your purchased appliances in our warehouse, ready for when you need them.
 
On the rare occasion that you notice damage at the time of delivery, you may wish to refuse the item. If you subsequently become aware of the damage after delivery please contact us within 48 hours IN WRITING/EMAIL. We reserve the right to request photographic evidence of the product(s) and/or packaging and sending this to us immediately will help us to deal with any problems quickly.
 
Under no circumstances should you install your appliance if you notice damage. By installing an item you are accepting the product and cannot claim for damage after installation. Installing a damaged item can void your warranty and can also be dangerous.
 
All of our appliances are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months with the manufacturer. If any faults arise after installation, please contact our customer service team who will be pleased to help. The guarantee will not apply however if the fault arises from misuse or excessive wear and tear. If your product appears not to be functioning correctly please first check the manufacturer’s instruction book and follow the fault-finding guide. If a product has been installed the manufacturer will need to send a service engineer to inspect the appliance to establish the nature of the fault. Please remember if a product is found to be installed incorrectly the manufacturer reserves the right to charge for the engineer visit.
 
We cannot replace or refund a faulty item without the manufacturer's engineer visit and only then if the engineer deems the item to be unrepairable, regardless of when it was delivered.
 
When installing a gas appliance a qualified Gas Safe engineer is required, all appliances will need to be installed by a qualified tradesperson, who will have the correct certification. If your appliance isn't installed by a qualified tradesman the manufacturer will likely void the warranty. We reserve the right to request an installation certificate for Gas appliances.
 
Where an item needs to be "hard-wired" by a qualified electrician, we reserve the right to request an installation certificate to make sure the fault was not caused by a "DIY" installation.

Item arrived in torn and tatty condition by the courier, I reported this to the seller who was absolutely on the ball. The item was undamaged when unpacked and is an absolute lovely item for the money. Not actually trued it yet as kitchen works still in progress it certainly dies take centre stage though. I would buy again and would recommend for style and price and it comes either it’s own fitting cable.

All in and working fine and seems very easy to use, pleased. (TCH601 is not an induction hob, so you can use any suitable pans you have). The Instruction book also says on page 7 "The ceramic hob is manufactured to work with three phase alternating current 440v3N 50Hz" The hob TCH601 is single phase 220 240v wiring, Live,neutral, and earth as stated on the hob itself. not sure what the hob instructions are referring to, so skip this paragraph.

    Cookology THC 601 black ceramic hob

    This is a great hob for the price easy to install wiring to the hob is already done so you just need to connect it to your spur 40 amp is recommended you cannot put a 13 amp plug on it! With all rings on it will pull 6000 Watts heats up really quick and is easy to clean with no external knobs to get in your way Also has a handy timer and the controls are easy to use and understand A great job for the price

    Perfect choice

    Liked the simple design and pan sizes on the hob, this item is much lighter than our previous hob (easier to self fit) and is easy to clean. It heats up very quickly and controls are easy to use. Came across this item by chance at a low price, so will see if it will be good buy in the long term. Otherwise at present totally happy with it.

    Excellent value

    The hob is easy to clean and controls straightforward and easy. They could be a little more visible though! The grey shade is often hard to discern against the black glass. It's not too fast to heat up, but I can live with that!. On the whole, I think it's absolutely great value for money, and would recommend it.

    Very Impressed

    I bought this hob as a replacement for the one I already had which was hard to clean properly because of the knobs at the side. This hob heats up much quicker and is much more powerful than my last one, the touch controls are very responsive and easy to use plus it also has a timer function as well. So glad I purchased it and would recommend it to anyone, it's so good.
