However I suspect that the tough hessian fabric could probably survive a light crushing. Shape-wise they have this style nailed. I've never considered hessian before but in the natural colour at least, it looks summery enough to replace my paper/straw hats which now look a bit tawdry by comparison. Be aware when buying that if you even suspect you might be an XL, then you most likely are in these..
