perfect for repairs
easy to use, gives a great finish for 1k, used HVLP gun at 26psi at 20 degrees and was really suprised with results. nearly as good as 2k but cheaper, much easier to blend and does'nt kill you.

Smooth & shiny but a little soft
No thinning required, just spray neat. The finish is glass-like smooth and requires no cutting or buffing afterwards. However, as the instructions state, don't over apply. Too many coats or too thicker coating will look amazing but leave a very soft finish - definitely not suitable for the outside of a car. I used it in the engine bay and found that areas I only gave one light coat to have been ok but places I gave 2 or 3 coats have suffered from 'squidging' if I bolted any components up tight to it.No thinning required, just spray neat.
