    Works well so far, but it's early days!

    Do not attempt to install this if you are not reasonably adept at opening laptop cases and have a set of tamper-proof Torx screwdrivers and some plastic spudgers! There's an online video suggesting that the replacement takes five minutes, and that's nonsense - allow at least an hour unless you are an expert. Also make sure you get the right battery for the particular version of XPS13. Make sure you can open the case and see how to remove the battery before you decide to buy. With these caveats, it appears to be excellent, but I've only taken it out for one full-day trip so far, and I decided to recharge it while eating supper.

    lower capactity Dell original

    same 56Wh as original, but this has 6000+ mAh compared to my dell original had 56Wh and 7000+ mAh, so this one is lower capacity comapred to what Dell shipped my laptop with 2 years ago..
