I have no idea what this wheel/tire combo was designed for. It's not the right shade of yellow to be for a John Deere. But it's a perfect replacement for the front wheels, which are trouble-prone, on the Troy-Bilt/Craftsman 10 hp riding mower with the single 30-inch blade. If having unmatched front wheels bothers you, just order two. They're easy to install - a simple cotter pin is all that holds them on. Despite the different tread profile, it feels right when mowing.
