Leaking cap.
It fits, but it leaks so you have to empty the tank if stop cutting for a little while or you fuel will all leak out. If you really tighten it up with pliers you can get the leak down to just a drop.

Gas cap

Good value OEM replacement
This was a "plug and play" replacement for my Poulan 2250 16-inch chainsaw. The old cap had become difficult to remove and tighten due to expansion and there was a way to file down the grooves on the cap to make it fit better, but at under $6 this was a much better option!
