works well for older devices
despite the little plastic on-off switch not being properly attached - but that was easy to sort out. it works as soon as the car stereo is at the same wavelength as the device is set at. NOTE - it only worked with the older phone I have - with the newish one there is a difference in the socket design. it needs to be for sockets for devices with two black hoops are on the plug, not three. hope that makes sense. despite the little plastic on-off switch not being properly attached - but that was easy to sort out. it works as soon as the car stereo is at the same wavelength as the device is set at. My Satnav receives but doesn't transmit Bluetooth so used this FM transmitter with an audio isolation matching transformer from satnav speaker to FM transmitter to car radio ,the car is a convertible , if the roof is down I need plenty of volume , works great
