In any situation where there is a potential for carbon monoxide fumes (deadly but no smell!!) this product is a very easy safeguard. I have purchased a few over the years. They are neat, easy to use, and portable. I have a couple in the home and a couple on my boat. An easy no fuss solution - batteries last a very long time. An intermittent flashing light shows you it’s active and just press the button to test once in a while.

The alarm was a good Price, and delivery was very fast, also it has replaceable batteries, which meant it was better for us, than all the previous ones which were a sealed unit, and when the battery failed it had to be thrown, away and a new one purchased, they were not cheap, and they were very non environmentally friendly. While the sealed alarm may be better in some circumstances it was definitely not for us. The sealed alarm started to fail and gave off intermittent bleeps, it had to be immersed in water for 36 hours to stop the very annoying intermittent noise, then it had to be disposed of. The new alarm is better and is very oud when tested, we are very happy.

Compact, well made, reliable units. Good value and easy to fit. Ensure correct placement in relation to your potential gas hazard (all in the enclosed instructions). Comes with batteries but they are not best quality so when time comes, replace with decent ones. Chirps when batteries getting low to remind you.
