Gardman wooden feeder
The size is good, the mesh base is just right to let water through and keep food well (not that it last long). This new one I have modified with plastic covered metal tube so as the Hedgehog cannot reach any bread left for birds and fox. A juvenile Robin (taken 04.08.21 on the old feeder which must be at least 10 years old.

Poor quality and mesh not kept in place by anything, it will fall off.
I was initially happy but just after few days with birds using it the mesh fell off. it is not hold in place in any way, just installed between 2 pieces of wood. I bought two if these and they both end up with the same issue. I put only a small amount of seeds each time and i clean in very gently with a brush. Also wood is very very soft and while it appears to be treated for outdoor it gets soaked so much that you can almost squeeze it. I will fix the mesh but due to the soft wood it is not easy to add screws and it doesn't appear to be something that last long. I bought this because I wanted to save time but now that I witnessed the overall quality and sturdiness I can strongly suggest... do it yourself it you have the possibility. It doesn't have to be pretty.. just to do its job. If ... Ground feeder for birds
They are very good now the birds have got used to them. Unfortunately the badgers like to sit in them and feed on the bird food so had to repair the netting as they must weigh 4 stone at least. The squirrels go in them as well but they are not bad. Must put a sign up (Only For Birds)
