Lasted all of about four weeks,cheap and nasty made out of balsawood, door wouldn’t shut after it rained hinges fell off door fell off all the steps fell off, definitely wouldn’t buy one of these I know it was cheap but there is cheap and cheap and nasty this was nasty wouldn’t waste your money, easy to put togetherScrews way too small bits missing, not something I would buy again I deafly wouldn’t recommend it even if he didn’t have these problems I couldn’t see it lasting more than 8m

For My Tortoise
Bought this to replace a similar one that was worn out. This one is slightly smaller, but still plenty big enough for an adult tortoise to get in out out through the opening. It seems well made, I like the larger roof that covers the house and hopefully will protect it from the weather. Although only outside in the warmer months, the weather does take it's toll and the house will need replacing after a few years. As good as any of the more expensive ones, so I would recommend it. Poor quality.
Speedy delivery & arrived well packaged Disappointed with quality. Flimsy wood. I was expecting it to be a lot more sturdy than it is. Not good quality for price paid. Not sure how long it will last. I bought it for my cat as an Over night shelter if he stays out. Unsure if the floor of house will take his weight. ? Fiddly to assemble if there’s only one person . A “Must Have” For Outdoor Cats !
I bought this because I have an outdoor cat who’s almost 13 and because he often comes in soaking wet so I decided to take action. This small pet hutch was my choice and it’s an easily assembled product - without using power tools. I put it together in about 10 minutes. I’d suggest using an internal liner whether you buy or make one is up to you, but it should be waterproof/ easily replaced. I used a few layers of thick cardboard from a box that my cat had already slept in, so that it already smelled like his. I did have to put a couple of house bricks on top due to high winds but in better weather I’m sure my cat will want to sleep on the roof. The roof also opens up for easy cleaning. He’s already using the roof as a stepping stone to jump to our garden wall. The floor comes in two ... nice little item, needs modification for tortoises fine for small mammals
a flat pack but easy to put together, recommend a second person just to get the first two sides screwed together after that easy to erect. I recommend a few coats of fence coat protection inside and out. This is a budget item but good value for the price, roof quite substantial so hopefully good weather protection. Ok for small tortoises, my medium girl can't get through the door (managed to widen it a bit so now ok! also I shortened the legs to bring the unit close to the ground as the ramp is too steep and risks the tortoise falling off the edge. if possible stand the unit on a slab base. Great value, good item
Good price, over £40 for same item in Pets at Home. My only negative comment is that the roof hinge folds downwards inside. I bought the same hutch from Pets at Home 2 years ago for another guinea pig and that roof hinge folded along the top of the side wall so much neater and not within reach of the guinea pig.
