Poole memories
I spent many holidays as a child near Poole and frequently visited the pottery. The houses of my parents, grandparents and other relatives were well stocked with Poole items and I grew up to know and love them. This is therefore not just a book about a factory, but about my childhood. Perhaps I am trying to recreate my childhood by reading about and buying pottery pieces. It is fascinating to see the pictures of the ladies who painted these works of art. The illustrations are excellent.I spent many holidays as a child near Poole and frequently visited the pottery.
