    12 x Duracell AS batteries

    Found from experience that these are the best on the market. Last longer, never burst, bulge or leak and with this type, able to check the charge rather than replacing early incase it is near exhaustion. Shelf life has always been excellent too. The copper top helps those with poor eyesight distinguish positive end.
